We’ve had a less than average stove for quite some time. It was getting the job done but we didn’t really know what we were missing. This thing is amazing! Most of the time we can even turn the burners to high because the heat is so abundant. I used to say my wife couldn’t boil water when it came to her culinary capabilities. For the price of $809 and free shipping this was worth it for me. Having said that, there are issues. The ash drops through a chute BEHIND and underneath the unit. I have not figured out what can be put back there to collect ashes. It will have to be a wide short metal bucket of some type. I think this should have been mentioned and provided or be for optional order. Then there is the ridiculous excuse for an owners/instruction manual. How hard would it have been to expand that just a little...for instance...I do not know what the lever in front underneath the firebox is for...I assume for dropping ash.......then there is the problem of .....is the back position closing up the ash drop, or is the forward position that causes ash to drop? The unit was built in November of 2025 and arrived Dec 15, 2025 but all that notes that on the metal sheet from the back is a dimple in a box, and for the model number. I might have bought a different make of wood stove had I known all the above for $100 more plus the separate purchase of a blower....and all of them seemed to be out of stock. This review is on the delivery experience not the machine. The delivery team was polite, but the experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. It took roughly 1.5 hours to install a washer and pedestal because they were not familiar with how the pedestal installs. Despite clear issues during setup and their reluctance to take guidance, I ultimately had to determine the correct installation steps myself just to get the job finished. After they left, the washer repeatedly threw an error, which took additional time to troubleshoot only to discover that they had failed to turn the water supply valves on. This added to an already unnecessarily long and difficult process. To make matters worse, their driving on the property was reckless. They drove at an unsafe speed on the driveway and nearly caused a head-on collision with a vehicle exiting the property.
