I like to start a review with the packaging. So, it came in a box, very well cared for inside, fragile label on all sides, and it arrived via FedEx in perfect condition. Good job, Fedex!! Upon assembly I noticed it was very straight forward (mechanical mind not necessary), the instructions were clear and written in my language. Looking at this beautiful piece fully assembled made me feel almost awe struck, with its glowing copper eagle, and brass cardinal directions. Solid piece! I've capped the cupola I'm building with it and it made it even more pretty! The only downside that I could find us that it does not come with the mount. Not really a downside though and if I had read the description better I would've known that before the purchase. You will love this piece. I really like this framed woodwork/artwork combination. Two things to point out and give clarification on for a buyer are the color and the variation in the wood. The background color of this is a very dark charcoal/black/blue. In photos and on the listing it looks Navy blue but in person is it darker. Even in my own photos it looks more blue than it appears in person. It's not a problem and I still really like it but I think it's worth mentioning. If you look at customer images you can see that on the eagle there are knots in the wood. Each one is slightly different so you can expect yours to have those same variations. Finally, as others have stated, it's smaller than it looks in the listing images. I suggest measuring ahead of time so you can visualize it in your space accurately. Over 150 years old, the flying eagle cent was struck for circulation in 1857 and 1858. The one cent piece was minted of a copper-nickel composition and designed by James Barton Longacre. The obverse displays a flying eagle and the reverse shows a wreath of corn, wheat, cotton and tobacco leaves. The flying eagle was too difficult to strike because of the high relief and was replaced in 1859 by the Indian head penny. Certificate of authenticity is included.

I’ve got a fairly long and steep concrete driveway that is starting to show its age a little bit. There has been some minor cracking from the freeze-thaw cycle each winter. I decided to try the Armour SX5000 water-based sealant to see if it would improve the situation. I have delayed writing this review for a bit as I wanted to driveway to go through at least one winter season. I first pressure washed the entire driveway surface which is pretty time consuming. I then applied the Armour sealant with a manual pump sprayer. This part went fairly quickly. The trick is to get the sealant covering the driveway well, but not so much as to create puddles that aren’t absorbed. I made sure there was no rain in the forecast for a couple of days. Initially, I did half of the driveway first and the first day that it rained the difference on the two sides was very noticeable. Water on the coated side was beading and running off and on the other side it was being absorbed into the concrete.
