I like to start a review with the packaging. So, it came in a box, very well cared for inside, fragile label on all sides, and it arrived via FedEx in perfect condition. Good job, Fedex!! Upon assembly I noticed it was very straight forward (mechanical mind not necessary), the instructions were clear and written in my language. Looking at this beautiful piece fully assembled made me feel almost awe struck, with its glowing copper eagle, and brass cardinal directions. Solid piece! I've capped the cupola I'm building with it and it made it even more pretty! The only downside that I could find us that it does not come with the mount. Not really a downside though and if I had read the description better I would've known that before the purchase. You will love this piece. I really like this framed woodwork/artwork combination. Two things to point out and give clarification on for a buyer are the color and the variation in the wood. The background color of this is a very dark charcoal/black/blue. In photos and on the listing it looks Navy blue but in person is it darker. Even in my own photos it looks more blue than it appears in person. It's not a problem and I still really like it but I think it's worth mentioning. If you look at customer images you can see that on the eagle there are knots in the wood. Each one is slightly different so you can expect yours to have those same variations. Finally, as others have stated, it's smaller than it looks in the listing images. I suggest measuring ahead of time so you can visualize it in your space accurately.
