These are the perfect match for the tabletop lantern version. I am using these for my flowerpots as a compliment to the tabletop lanterns that I have in the same patterns. These are the perfect size. I have found the solar light to be bright, lighting up my gardens with a soft glow. The glass feels substantial, the stake also feels well made. You will want to make sure that the stake is securely "planted" as the glass top does make it top heavy. Mine are sunk into deep pots so it is not a problem for me, but you should be aware that they are top heavy. I love all the colors in these, and will be adding additional to my remaining pots..
