Having never ordered from Wayfair before, I was a bit hesitant, especially since I was ordering an open box. The price was too good to pass up. I bit the bullet and took a chance. I worried unnecessarily though. It was a great experience. Good communication, quick shipping and was delivered earlier than expected. Item works perfectly. Heater works well on our patio. We've used it several times already. The heat distribution is even and instant. We like the fact that it has a HIGH and LOW setting. We had our contractor install two of these heaters with the covered patio extension we built last spring. I was looking for something cool to do on this wall to make it like a feature in our living room. When I found this recessed wall mounted electric fireplace. I was super excited. I thought this would be the perfect thing to make that wall a feature. I have an appointment with our contractor next week to get this officially installed in the wall. Putting it together was very easy. It came with everything you need except for a screwdriver, you take out 2 screws to place all of your crystals and wood. You can really place them however you want, which I thought was cool. It comes with a remote, which is awesome. This thing changes to so many colors. It is so cool you can make your flame any color and the lights under the rocks any color. I really like the different color combinations. And this thing actually puts out heat perfect for those chilly nights in the fall in winter. The colors are super bright and bold. I was not expecting it to be such high-quality.
