Made with hand-knotted wool and originating from Turkey circa 1960-1970, this 6x13 vintage rug is an exciting new piece in Rug & Kilim’s Mid-Century Pasha Collection—a curation believed to hail from mid-century Turkish artist and icon Zeki Müren, and one of a particularly uncommon size for his works, nearly a gallery runner in its spacious dimensions. On the Design: This Zeki Müren rug features an irregular geometric design playing cubist Art Deco and mid-century modern sensibilities, which unfolds across a harmonious, soft palette of beige, dusty rose pink, golden ochre, cream, and brown tones, each ‘fragment’ contributing to an almost abstract mosaic that transforms historical design sections into modern artistic statements. What a gorgeous sink. It’s just as the pictures if not better. We haven’t installed it yet but I’m sure it will be great. The chiseled front looks good, it has a grey color in it since the front is not treated. If you wanted the front to be black you just need to seal the front with a wet sealer. Just had this sink installed in my newly remodeled kitchen and it is beautiful! Had the garbage disposal installed with absolutely no issues. After months of researching material, i decided on the fire-clay because i had read it stays very white and bright.
