This is my 2nd time purchasing these recessed LED lights. Love how simple they are to install and with just a small box vs. canned lighting they can be used in tight places. I wanted a light in specific place in the bathroom we're remodeling, but the location was right off of a beam. Unfortunately, these lights don’t work in my house. They are made for new construction and in order to make them work in an older house. You have to retrofit the light fixture, which would cost more money than it’s worth. They are not made to go right into an existing light fixture. You will need to order the springs from the company for them to work unless you have newer construction they won’t work. That being said, they seem like good quality. This 4pk Oil Rubbed Bronze Outdoor Landscape Lighting are a definite recommended!! Have never used low voltage lights and have always used solar, however these are such a better upgrade. They work all the time and can be cut on or off which is nice. It is just the lights. You have to purchase a controller and wiring separately. Wasn’t too bad running the wiring in the rocks. We were going to use conduit but just buried the wiring well and nothing ever goes in the rocks. We loved this lighting so much we bought more and will be putting in our front yard as well. These lights are as described, tall and made of metal. The only ones I have had are the solar plastic ones that didn’t last long at all. I thought these were solar but due to my fault and not reading the description like I should have, I need a transformer and an electrician to install them for me. I read the instructions and installation is easy but due to the electrical part, I want a certified electrician to do this. They will be beautiful at night lighting up my sidewalk. I can barely wait.
