These are good looking sturdy shelves for the price. They work for my purposes but aren't the finest of finishes. Some of the powerdercoating on the metal arches/supports was scratched/flaked off. It's not very noticable unless upclose and looking but the two I ordered came like that out of the box. The bolts are also noticable which isn't the most luxurious of finishes.. Christina. ​ I am very impressed with the build quality of this library. It feels incredibly sturdy and well-made, worth the purchase. Not everything arrived in perfect condition but I was pleasantly surprised by how easy the assembly process was. The only minor downside for me is the wood pattern and color. I wish there had been more variety to choose from, as only one option was available, and it wasnt my first choice. its beautiful and sturdy, I really needed a bigger book shelf to hold all the books I had around the house and this fit the bill perfectly. I love the arch Sao much it really elevates our whole living room. It required book ends though but I didn't mind having to find some I liked, it adds a level of elegance to the shelves too. It’s a little off white so it doesn’t match my white walls exactly as I wanted but it is pretty! It has taken about 3-4 days to put together. Came in 3 large heavy boxes. You will need help putting this together and lifting it off the ground to set it upright. I wish the lights had a timer on them. It comes with remote with diff lighting effect options that really isn’t needed. I’m not living in a club setting where I need flashing lights lol. We needed a tall but relatively slim bookcase. This fit the bill. Let me tell you a couple hints. Basically this is 3 units all screwed together. It works great and it makes assembly really easy. The directions to assemble show that you can construct this with some of the shelves offset from one another. It actually looks pretty nice and if I had a bit wider space I might have tried it.
