So hard to find a built in backsplash. I like that it just has a lip and not the full front, lots of those models. I love, love, love the sink. Originally we had a cast-iron sink that the finish was worn off of. We tried cleaning it, but this did not help even bleach did not take the stains off of the material. So we decided to put in a new sink unfortunately the sink was very large 42 to 43 inches wide so we are limited on what we could put in there. We found the sink on Wayfair. It was 42 inches wide by 22 inches. We decided to try it when the sink arrived. We looked at it and thought “oh no it’s not gonna fit” but when the plumber came, he was able to get it in and it perfectly fits. This is one of the best upgrades that we’ve done in our house. We’ve had it in for about six months and there are not any scratches or anything like that on it. The cutting board stores easily near the sink. It’s easy to clean and maintain and our whole family loves the upgraded look of the kitchen since putting in the new sink and faucet. Adjoining the spacious basin, a raised platform drain area helps to keep water in the sink and off your counters, with a slight pitch to drain freely into the basin drain. The included removable stainless wire dish rack fits into the raised platform for drying. The basin has a side set drain to give a more unobstructed surface area. This large sink includes a bottom grid, colander drain, and dish drying rack. Fabricated with premium 16 Gauge high-grade corrosion-resistant 304 stainless steel and sound-deadening rubber padding. The bottom grid with rubber feet protects the basin’s brushed satin finish. Small radius corners make for easy cleaning. Like the quality of the sink. Opened the box and checked for damage upon arrival. I found that the mounting rail for the installation bolts was completely off on one long side and partially off on the other long side. Although I am a bit disappointed I am going to keep the sink and epoxy the rails back in place. This should not be happening with a sink in this price range.
