Gerber isnt as well-known a brand as some others, but when I was shopping for fixtures for a full bathroom, it was carried by a local, highly-respected plumbing supply store, and I wound up choosing them for their design. Now that Im redoing the kitchen, I especially looked for their options. Im glad I did, because it looks great. Its a tad shorter than other similar options, which is a good thing for my application. This 4×4 post base is made of solid steel with a black powder-coated finish. It fits standard 4×4 posts (3.6" × 3.6") and stands 5.5" high. The base keeps the post slightly off the ground and includes a central support. Includes screws and anchors for wood or concrete installation.
