Worked out perfectly. While I have a smaller one in my backyard. I decided to get a larger one to act as a car port for two cars on my side driveway. I can even fit my full size SUV GL550 sitting on larger 22in wheels. I added a motion light to the interior roof, powered by a solar panel mounted on the exterior. This product has been a nightmare. Missing parts, mangled parts, the manufacturer has been slow to respond or hasn't responded at all. I will never buy anything from this manufacturer again ever! The photo attached is of only some of the many mangled, twisted parts. After contacting and not receiving the parts, I was able to go to an auto body shop that was able to straighten the parts out where they were workable,. This morning we were putting the roof together only to find that the parts which were sent were the wrong ones, they are much smaller and simply don't fit. We are now waiting for the correct roof parts to arrive with no guarantee that this time they will send the correct ones. It is not as sturdy as described; it won't hold up in the high desert wind. Also, there were missing screws, wrong pieces, and no 24x28 instructions. Looks beautiful, assembly was as expected. A bit unhappy with the directions, was installing the roof clips the wrong way at first until I figured it out. Quality is good, enjoy being able to pull a curtain closed once in a while when the sun is setting in my eyes. Lots of compliments from the neighbors. Happy to no longer need an umbrella and constantly put it up and down for wind and rain. My wife and I are constantly outside together now, even when there is light rain. Definitely recommend!!. Packages arrive as 3 large boxes. Upon opening we found a little damage to a few of the pieces but not enough of an issue to issue a claim, especially since my husband I had dedicated this day to assemble it 2 days ahead of our party! I wasnt aware that the main posts were NOT actual wood, but aluminum with wood grain finish. I hope it will be strong enough to weather any future storms but my husband says its solid! We unpacked everything set up a tent for some shade in our driveway as it was a 90 degree day! It too the 2 of us 8 hours to put it together... a real test of our patience with over 250 screws alone! Upon completion we are happy with our investment... 4 stars because directions are only illustrations, very few words... some portions were very difficult to determine which direction we should be putting things together, and we are definitely used to DIY projects. The roof was the most trying and this morning we were brainstorming about how they could have instructed assembly better. Photos are from completion without fully decorating!
