I've been very impressed with the FOTILE 30" Slant Vent range hood. It’s extremely efficient at removing smoke and cooking odors, much more powerful than standard models. Despite its strong suction (up to 1100 CFM), it operates surprisingly quietly, which is a big plus in an open kitchen. The touchless control feature is also a standout. No. But it is extremely helpful. These are things I was ready for, but some other buyers might not be ready for. This is an RF controlling device. While it makes some devices a little easier to use it does not make those devices "smart". If you have someone who likes to use the remotes a lot, the app will show incorrect settings for those devices that have changed with the remote. This does not bug me, but for someone who is not ready for that, make sure you understand what this device is first. I highly recommend Bond. This is an affordable way to use what you already have. Less devices in the landfill for replacements, and a pretty great way to control my devices from my phone. Slave dampers (MD6S, MD8S, and MD10S) are interlocked to the main automatic or universal make-up air damper and open in unison for synchronized operation. They close, along with the main damper, as soon as the range hood is powered off. Slave dampers can be ganged together to provide a cost-effective means to provide for higher volumes of make-up air.
