I love the tile. It is a bright white with the design in light gray. It goes great with my gray cabinets and white gray and silver specked countertops. The reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the tiles came with two strips of thin glue/plastic on the front of each tile. At first I thought the tiles were defective. After opening several boxes and finding all the tiles the same I tried to remove the strips. Anyway if you put the tiles in water for a minute that will loosen the protective strips and then they can be removed with your finger nail or razor blade. We purchased the Catch 3" x 12" subway tile in Ice with a matte finish. For a crisp, clean look, we chose to extend the tile out from the shower and across an entire wall. It does double-duty as a backsplash behind our vanity. Running the tile from floor to ceiling made our small, windowless bathroom feel much bigger too. We went for a vertical, stacked layout to give a modern vibe. Lastly, we recommend getting samples of both the glossy and matte finish so you can see the two side-by-side.
