I was in need of a microwave to replace one I had for years and quit on me. At first, I was skeptical because I never knew Faberware made microwaves but it was offered at a fair price so I took a chance. It is more powerful, by surprise, than my old one which was 1000 watts. Even though it is smaller, I can still fit a large plate with room to spare. My only complaint thus far is the popcorn setting. This is the quick set button on top of the panel. Just got the microwave set up and working, so time will tell. The MCM1611ST is very similar to a Magic Chef I bought in 2004. The old machine needed some parts, which impressively Magic Chef still sold, but the cost could have approached this new machine. The old machine had an all stainless case and cavity, which these new machines lack. It was also made in Korea, while all the new machines are made in China. These seem to be great lights to replace some of our existing can lights with. They can connect with an app that I’m really excited to test out and see how interactive they are.
