As an avid DIYer, I know the difference between good and bad products. This motorized blind is high quality. Everything from the fabric and housing quality to the ease of installation make this a great choice. Unfortunately, our primary reason for purchasing this was for privacy in the evening, as our deck opens up to community courts and gathering space. As it’s getting dark in the evening, and the lights are on in our kitchenfamily room, you can see everything in our home almost as clearly as if the shade were not in place. Also, my home is fully automated with Alexa control. I have two universal RF hubs (Bond Bridge Pro and Toyanc IRRF transmitter) for home automation, and for some reason, both accepted the programming frequency of the remote (433.92 MHz), but neither would transmit the right codes. I mounted the brackets in the rim joist between the first and second floors... as such I needed to purchase some lag screws as the anchors provided with the awning were suited more to mounting on brick or concrete. The desk came very well packaged in quickly. I ordered the smaller of the two sizes. The smaller one is massive so I can’t imagine how big the larger one would be. Both the instructions and myself say that it’s a pretty good idea to use two people to assemble this feast. I put it together all by myself and the only way that I could’ve accomplished. This was to move it peace by peace to it’s final spot. Once I put it all together, it is massive and heavy duty. The dual motor function works seamlessly.
