The electric standing desk is sturdy and nice. It is traditional with a sleek design look. The electric height adjustment works smoothly and quietly, making it super easy to switch between sitting and standing modes throughout the day. The built-in power outlets are nice, no more crawling under the desk. It is, however, not easy to put together. It has a lot of parts, so be prepared to dedicate time to that and it takes a couple of hours for the assembly when doing it all alone. The fact that there were no gliders for the drawers is a bit disappointing, because they just hang when pulled out. The original desk I received had some scratches on a couple of parts and the wooden dovels provided to connect the desk top were fragile and broke during the assembly. Reached out to Wayfair support with the part number needed to replace the damage and they were so understanding and supportive enough to provide a new free replacement and told me to dispose off the original desk that was no longer functional. I have been looking for a desk that can be both for standing and sitting wjile I work. This desk was exactly what I needed the langth and the depth of the desk is fantastic as there are ays when I can have 2 laptops and more than three monitors. The instructions are easy to follow - although due to the weight of the desk I totally recomend having a friensd help you. One of the the other perk is that this desk set up has plenty of storage. This Inbox Zero Lorentz sit‑stand desk showed up in two very heavy boxes (around 90 lbs each), so the delivery alone felt like a mini workout. Building it solo with ADHD took a few hours and a couple of “rewind and fix” moments, but the instructions were clear—I just managed to overlook a few things along the way. Once assembled, the quality really shows. The drawers and cabinet close cleanly, the desk raises and lowers quietly and smoothly, and the larger size gives me plenty of room for both work and gaming. The only confusing part was the wire hiders underneath—usually there are markings for screw placement, but this one had none. I also wish the cabinet had cable holes in the back or middle.
