This desk is a game changer- I have been meaning to spend more time standing during the work day and this desk will certainly help me achieve that. My absolute favorite part of this desk (besides the adjustable height), is how easy it was to put together. It took maybe 30 mins if not less and it was very straightforward. I did not rate a 5-star because the color variation is not what I expected. In the main photo the brown option looks more like veneer or MDF wood aesthetically but in reality it has a raw-wood like finish (aesthetically), which I would usually not go for. Also, the table top comes in 2 halves that need to be secured together which to me makes it seem a little less durable. Desk arrived a day early which was nice. Fast shipping! I think it looks larger than it actually is but its still nice enough. Its not real big wood, but that being said I think its a decent desk. It took about 5.5 hours to assemble and the directions lacked a bit in some areas. If you are mechanically inclined you can figure it out no problem. Some of the items were labeled incorrectly and some not at all so you really had to study the picture to make you had the correct piece. Also if you just make sure to pay attention to the orientation of the pieces youll be ok. As luck would have it I didnt make one single mistake (that never happens!). The spindle that turns the desk is difficult to insert into the side piece. I recommend lubing up with some soap. Works well without issue once all together. Nice feature to have a standing desk. I was a little skeptical buying what is essentially a particle board desk top but was pleasantly surprised. The finish is high quality and the mechanism itself is smooth, quiet and just what we wanted. I would totally buy it again.
