When the heater is on, the bar at the top glows [see 2nd photo], which is good, so you know the heat is on. Plus, there is a timer accessed by the remote for up to several hours. I actually cant think of anything else you could ask for. I was worried that the case would be shiny, and it is, but that is not a negative. It will make it easy to dust. The heat comes from the bottom and is blown by a small fan. I’m giving it 4 stars because the digital display on the remote doesn’t work.
