This was one of my favorite projects in my new home remodel. I always loved a jewel box powder room and I think it came out FANTASTIC. Easy installation but I had to use a hardcore primary to get a smooth finish. Don't like the smell it leaves behind for a few days but if you want a smooth finish you need it. We finished our basement and put this niche in the wall opposite the bottom of the stairs into the basement. The niche holds holiday decor, like this photo taken at xmas, and a Chiparus dancer bronze sculpture in between holidays. It fit in the wall perfectly and adds a great accent to our downstairs rooms.
