Amazing...I grappled with buying these columns for 2 years, because of the non-refundable policy, so I had to be sure. I have a small porch so I knew I couldnt get the columns to wide or the proportions would look odd. So I used makeshift cardboard and the like to determine what to buy...I made the best decision with the 5.63 width columns they look amazing. My contractor bought 5 wood post from our local big box store and used brackets to install them on the porch. He used his nail gun to fasten each wrap to the wood post, he said it was rather simple to install. Next he caulked all the small nail gun holes and painted ( per instructions for winter protection) looks amazing. Our shiplap kits are available in a custom-milled pattern, giving you the look of traditional shiplap with a perfect 1/8 inch gap in between each board to give you the desired nickel gap effect. Nickel gap wainscoting offers a clean-line, modern take on shiplap with an interlocking tongue and groove profile so they don’t overlap at all. The tongue fits in the groove, once installed on a surface, the boards have a gap between them, so you don’t get warping that causes shiplap boards to look crooked or uneven. Our shiplap kits are premium paint-ready cellular PVC products.
