Urethane faux wood shutters stay true to authentic wood by not only having a wood grain, but also by having the ability to be either gel-stained or painted. Longevity of this faux wood material is priceless, without sacrificing the real wood appearance of the shutters.

Purchased the Riverwood style. Painted them but have not installed yet. They arrived primed, but primer is tacky…sticky. I have had to put 2 heavy coats of paint on them. Still painting…waiting for paint coats to dry and not be sticky either. Only concern is the shutters are not as sturdy as I expected (why the 4 stars) and hoping during installation they will not be damaged. I bought a PVC gable bracket. It took me over 2 weeks to get it. When I opened the box, it was made out of pressed wood. And the white paint on it was see-through, so I had to buy a can of paint and brush to finish the piece. Plus, with wood, I’ll have to keep painting it. Very, very annoyed.
