Ceiling Ring was difficult to piece together. Pieces don't fit perfectly flush, had to rely on a lot of caulk to fill in the gaps. Would be great if product could be made with more of a tongue-in-groove on each end for a perfect, near seamless fit. In addition, I was hoping to glue the entire ring then secure it to the ceiling. Would have been SO much easier as far as perfectly centering it around a light fixture. However, gorilla glue didn't stick, neither did liquid nails, even allowing glue to cure for 48 hours. Just ended up hanging piece by piece on the ceiling which was quite tricky! Overall, the final product is pretty and luckily my ceiling is high enough that no one will notice all the caulking between the pieces.. Bruce D. Sat Aug 25 2012

Urethane faux wood shutters stay true to authentic wood by not only having a wood grain, but also by having the ability to be either gel-stained or painted. Longevity of this faux wood material is priceless, without sacrificing the real wood appearance of the shutters.

Purchased the Riverwood style. Painted them but have not installed yet. They arrived primed, but primer is tacky…sticky. I have had to put 2 heavy coats of paint on them. Still painting…waiting for paint coats to dry and not be sticky either. Only concern is the shutters are not as sturdy as I expected (why the 4 stars) and hoping during installation they will not be damaged.
