The medallion arrived on time and was well-packaged, arriving in good condition. Overall, it looks nice and should work well for my project. The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is that some of the edges are a bit rough and will need a little sanding before installation. Other than that, I’m satisfied with the purchase.. Being hand carved each piece is richly detailed with deep relief, sharp lines, and a truly unique touch. That masterpiece is then used to create a mold master. Once the mold master is created we use our high-density urethane foam to form each medallion. The finished look is a beautifully detailed, lightweight, solid construction, focal piece. The resemblance to original plaster medallions is achieved only by using our high-density urethane and not vacuum-formed, "plastic" type medallions. Urethane Gable Vents shine when it comes to looking like a real wood product without all the maintenance that can come with wood. They are moulded from beautiful designs, like wood products, and come to you factory primed and ready for your paint. The functional option will offer better airflow, however, urethane vents offer the least amount of airflow. Highly recommended for decorative applications.
