I ordered the ceiling medallion in "primed" and plan to paint it to coordinate with the room. It arrived quickly and well packaged; my only complaint is that the hole in the middle isn't centered; fortunately, the canopy for the light fixture is large enough that it conceals that the hole is off-center. The ceiling medallion is much heavier than others I have purchased; I am sure it will require construction adhesive to keep it attached to the ceiling. It's perfect between gingerbread brackets for traditional or historic homes and Victorian buildings. It adds character and charm to porches or creative elements to pergolas. It makes a great bargeboard for roof gables and pairs beautifully with gable pediments or gable brackets for a complete polished look.
