Absolutely beautiful medallion. Arrived in perfect shape, beautifully wrapped. Made of nice and dense material. Please understand that this is a fairly deep ceiling medallion, and that the "leaves" or "fans" that project from the medallion's center are not designed to lie flush against the ceiling surface. I made a special trip to the local hardware store to purchase a threaded "nipple" to accommodate the added depth of the medallion. But the effort was worthwhile because the impact that this medallion makes is truly wonderful. Being hand carved each piece is richly detailed with deep relief, sharp lines, and a truly unique touch. That masterpiece is then used to create a mold master. Once the mold master is created we use our high-density urethane foam to form each medallion. The finished look is a beautifully detailed, lightweight, solid construction, focal piece. The resemblance to original plaster medallions is achieved only by using our high-density urethane and not vacuum-formed, "plastic" type medallions. Medallions are lightweight for easy installation and come primed and ready for paint. These are in stock and available for immediate shipment. Our whole one-piece medallions are cut in two for you, making installation a breeze.
