It's lovely material, but the install was initially pretty (conceptually) tough. Screwed up with the adhesive and had to order another piece of this. The main thing that saved the final install was using a (cordless) nailer, which made it a lot easier. If you don't have one, recommend to borrow one from a friend (hopefully you already have one). If you don't use a nailer, try to find the least obtrusive finish nails / use a precision finish tool (not sure what it is called but it's a little thing you use with a hammer to push the nail heads deeper, but not so that you dent the moulding) to submerge the nail heads. When you paint this, also recommend to start with the little domes and really work around them so paint does not pool. Finish the rest of the paint job with swipes in parallel to the length of the 'board'. I ended up using four coats of paint...it was worth it. Your mileage may vary! I this item a 5 star review because its beautiful. However, the ordering process was a pain. wayfair kept changing the date of delivery. I had hired a builder to install them because it is holding up a small roof, so I needed to know a date of delivery but, every couple of days I received an email with a change. So, I called the manufacturer and they stated the delivery date has always been the same which was another date then what I had from Wayfair. The good news is it came 3 days early.
