I this item a 5 star review because its beautiful. However, the ordering process was a pain. wayfair kept changing the date of delivery. I had hired a builder to install them because it is holding up a small roof, so I needed to know a date of delivery but, every couple of days I received an email with a change. So, I called the manufacturer and they stated the delivery date has always been the same which was another date then what I had from Wayfair. The good news is it came 3 days early. This was one of my favorite projects in my new home remodel. I always loved a jewel box powder room and I think it came out FANTASTIC. Easy installation but I had to use a hardcore primary to get a smooth finish. Don't like the smell it leaves behind for a few days but if you want a smooth finish you need it. Painted it blue and added it to my office that I am redoing modern French Country. Painted it by hand so it took longer than expected to complete so recommend using a paint sprayer. Got the artwork and the crown in the picture from Wayfair. Sue. Austin, TX. Fri Oct 04 2024

I am very pleased with these wall panels. I was a little hesitant to purchase something so long, and thin enough to perhaps be damaged in shipping. But every piece was in perfect condition. I bought the alder, which was easy for me to cut with a Japanese style hand saw. Another reviewer mentioned the black charring on the sides, and yes that was a pain because it got all over my hands and on the wall as I was leaning the boards up to visualize. I washed it off as best as I could, then primed and painted. Seems as though the black edging would be a problem if I was just staining or keeping natural. Painting has worked for me though, as did construction adhesive with no nailing required. These wall panels have really jazzed up my entryway and I'm very satisfied with the purchase.. Karen.
