EightDoors’ 3 Lite Frosted is designed to provide beauty while allowing sunlight through the door. This solid wood door is made by FSC regulations, from planted forests for minimum environmental impact. MDF is used on the faces for a great finishing, the square lines and shaker molding are stylish and a modern trend to become a classic style. The tempered frosted glass grants that the light will go through, saving energy while it provides privacy. This door is fully finished and does not need any additional finish, we do not recommend changing the finish to prevent damage to the product, it is made for interior use only. This door has a trimming allowance of 1/4 in. on each side and 1-in. at the bottom. Further trimming will expose the dowels and weaken the structure of the door. Any edge that is trimmed must be sealed or painted to prevent moisture from entering the wood.

The door looks great however it is very heavy. The door itself was easy to assemble but installing the slide bar was very difficult. I wouldn’t have purchased it if I had known how hard it would be. Update 121625 - Ok, Doors have been installed now my husband will put holes in for the doors for the handle hardware and wait for our warmer weather to paint doors (black). He will paint the trim and doors black. But these doors provide such a much more expensive and quality look. The contrast between the original doors and these 5 panel doors are night and day and the soundproofing is sooo much better. We have a open concept home and to have the solid core makes such a difference. So much so we were going to leave one of our doors that is not seen in the main area original but he had me order another one today. I will say these doors were prices extremely well over the big box stores or any competitor. I can not express how much these doors have increased not only the value of our home but the beauty. Original 111425 My husband has been disappointed with the current doors we have in home (hollow core and plain). Our home is an open plan and the doors being as they are you hear everything and this was his biggest complaint outside of the fact that they were plain and ugly. He saw these and had me order three of them immediately. First assessment, well packaged and secured. The doors are very heavy and sturdy. The style is just what I was looking for with the five panels. We are waiting on the installer and I will update pictures once complete. We are very pleased with this purchase, well worth it.. Door is as stated in description so if that is what you need, this door will serve the purpose. The craftsmanship and quality of the door itself is fine. Sturdy door and nice quality - the weight of it makes it seem like a pricier door. It is solid but with the mdf outer- well let’s just say be careful your contractor doesn’t place it in a place with standing water. The good news is the swelling that occurs dries out but you have to let it sit for days. The other thing is the primer on it is super glossy and even after sanding isn’t the easiest to paint. This solid wood door is made from planted forest trees by FSC regulations, being an environmentally friendly product. For a great and smooth finish, MDF veneer is used on the faces with 3 coats of white primer so you can add the finish of your choice to offer a bit more protection to the wood to last for years to come. The tempered clear glass allows light to brighten your home, saving energy. This door is meant for interior use and has a trimming allowance of 1/4 in. on each side and 1 inch on the bottom. Please note that trimming will damage the finish or the primer, so any edge that was trimmed must be sealed or painted to protect it from moisture.

Got these doors for my shoe closet and I couldn’t be happier. Very happy with this door. The Shaker style is simple and modern, and it fits perfectly with the rest of my home’s design. The primed surface was smooth and ready to paint, which made finishing it quick and easy. The door feels solid and well-constructed—not flimsy at all like some other interior doors. First, these doors are nice and solid. A little on the heavy side, so I am glad I wasnt installing these on my own. They are primed to a gloss so have to be sanded before painting, which is a little annoying, but it is what it is. They are not pre-hung, so you will not get any frame panels with them and as a result, the hinges dont sit recessed. When I read no hardware, I understood no hinges, handles, etc. which I was fine with as I had my own, but no frames would have been an issue if I didnt have the ones from the doors that didnt show up from the previous order that was cancelled (different vendor). They were delivered super quick which I appreciated and packed well. They did have some cosmetic issues that were from the factory (not FedEx), but not enough for me to go through the hassle to send them back. It was like each door had at least one nick in it!
