These are really pretty and whimsical at nighttime. They should definitely be put in an area that gets plenty of sun to work optimally. The packaging is terrible, however. Both times I ordered them, there wasn’t any outer packaging, just the manufacturer’s box, which wasn’t even taped shut on the ends. The second set I received was missing parts, which had clearly fallen out of the package during shipping. While other products seemed to be somewhat reliable, these particular items (in both colors) had an over 50% rate of not functioning upon arrival, and half of those that DID work stopped doing so within a few weeks.
