I installed slat wood in my gym and the height was 3" short of the ceiling so I got creative. I installed this crown at the top of the panelling that served as a channel for LED color-change lighting (smart lights so I could voice control). It turned out so much better than expected it's like being in a professional studio. It diffuses the light just enough and shines it up to the ceiling. What a great product! Lightweight and easy to cut with a fine blade in a miter saw. No chipping of finish when cutting. Installed a 13 x 13 room in under 3 hours with two people. Used the standard adhesive (blue tube) to secure it to a painted ceiling. Paint was sanded prior to installation.
