This piece is unbelievably beautiful. The shade is like a little piece of artwork. I included a picture of the original shade that came with my house so that you can see the size difference. Everything was already threaded the only thing that I think could be a problem is if you wanted to shorten the length of the pendant light, you have to thread everything to take out the centerpiece of the post. But it is this beautiful, nickel finish that looks both silver and gold in the light And this beautiful hombre and crackle finish to the lampshade itself. The the ceiling attachment doesn’t fit a north Mercian electoral box so you have to buy a new piece. The cover doesn’t scare tight enough to stay up on ours. The light is so pretty and the perfect touch of color that I needed over my kitchen sink. It came with plenty of cable to make it as long as you might need. The glass shade is not too big or too small. It was a fairly easy installation, but there was one problem. The base of the light that covers the plate where it hangs is not big enough.
