We just had it installed yesterday. Recommend that you get a print out of the specifications and the installation. From what I was able to read in Wayfare’s description section, we would be able to install the unit flush with the ceiling. And unfortunately, because I didn’t have printed specifications we had to drop down the unit a foot from the ceiling. Not the inconspicuous flush mount unit and I was hoping for. According to my contractor, this was a very complicated unit to install. To be fair this is a relatively new category of range top hoods that are being offered. Pleased with the noise level, but have yet to cook with it. Read reviews from other previous purchasers, and a common statement was how small the remote controller was. I needed some gym flooring for my home gym that is getting slowly put together. These went on sale and are the perfect fit. They ship wrapped and sealed well, have a slightly rubber smell that isnt going to overwhelm you while they air out, and feel great under your feet. The edges piece together nicely however you may have to lift the edge near the corner to lay 2 together so it does press the other down. Again this is not a big deal. Finally putting the floor together is simple, Line up the edges and step, slap, stomp, or use a rubber mallot to get the edges to fit together. A product and wayfair shipped super fast. This was delivered super fast. It was packaged well. It was what we were looking for, and now that I’ve got it installed and used it a few times, I can say it works so well, and I love it. I knocked a star off because there are some frustrating (welding) stains on the stainless steel, and I got cut on a piece of sharp metal that was sticking out of it. Other than that, it’s a dream, and for the price, I don’t think we could have gotten even close with another option. Got this 30” 900 CFM wall mount range hood for a kitchen remodel. Came very well packaged and stainless steel had protective wrap to protect finish. Very nice solid quality unit.
