Were remodeling a house and the original air conditioning system was slightly undersized both in the kitchenutility and the living room. They were always either too hot or cold with not enough airflow. The current AC condenser is a 2-ton which is a little undersized for this home, but still fairly new, 5 or 6 years. We chose to keep the current AC and purchased this two head mini split. Its a perfect solution for our problem. Very easy to install. My husband installed it with a little help from me. This is a perfect solution for those DIYers. It came with the template and wonderful instructions and all the accessories, line set and wiring and remotes for each head. Very tight tolerances, to install, but absolutely stunning. We have taken one star off because the water pressure on the bidet is not as strong as we are used to, but it still does the job. I had used this type of air conditioner at an Air BnB and really like it, this was main reason for ordering this one and it is great. The greatest advantage, I think is the savings on your electric bill from not having to cool the entire house. The inverter option is great for any place with short winters for the same reason noted above, no furnace needed! I heat up a room for the cold hours of the night and that’s it. The remote control is a must, but it works great with the thermostat so I just set the temperature I like and that’s it! The room stays at a comfortable temperature. My husband was able to do most of the installation. It was relatively easy to install the unit on the wall with parts that are included, we only had a certified electrician do the the connection and final install of the unit. Very quiet compared to most brands I’ve had. I do think it could be a littler cooler on max but it will eventually cooldown the room and maintain good temp after.
