Overall, I like this desk. I wanted a white desk with a back panel to help conceal the abundance of cords and equipment I have (my desk is for both work and gaming so I have 2 computers that hide under the desk. Overall, this feels like a quality desk. I love the shape and it was relatively simple to put together (did it by myself, would’ve been even easier with a second person). My only complaint is about weight distribution. I have two monitors, and they’re curved so they’re a little heavier (16lbs each). Because the back panel doesn’t sit at the back edge of the desk, and is instead recessed a little bit, you need to be mindful of how much weight you’re putting on the back of the desk. I have a dual arm monitor mount that holds both monitors and clamps to the back of the desk, but I couldn’t use it- after fastening it to the back of the desk, I noticed the front parts of the side walls of the desk raising up off the ground. I went back to 2 regular monitor stands, but even then, I had to use some shimssmall furniture pads to keep the desk level. Note that the desk feels very study, and it’s not that it’s wobbling- but if you put a significant amount of weight (2 heavy-ish monitors) on the back edge of the desk, it will lift the front part of the desk off the ground a bit. We had this system installed in our remodeled bathroom in September 2023. For the most part, it has worked beautifully and we've been ecstatic with it. However, it is not without issues. It has to be re-paired with Amazon Alexa every 3 months, unlike every other Alexa skill out there. Why? Who knows. Because Kohler says so, I guess. Lately it has been needing to be re-paired every 2 weeks (today was the 3rd time). Also today it said there's a firmware update, but when I go to update I get a message that the shower is offline and I need to check the wifi connection. How? There's no wifi settings on the shower setup or in the app, or in my Kohler account anywhere. There is an Advanced/Locked section of settings that requires a PIN on the in-shower control and I have no idea what the PIN is or how to find it; we didn't set it and we can't get into these settings. I purchased 2 of the brushed nickel faucets. They are very high quality! Replaced cheap falling apart delta faucets that were in the house when we bought it. These faucets are a bit pricey but they are very solid. You get what you pay for! I did not want to have to replace them in 2 years like the Delta's. They are large faucets! But very cool. Carolyn.
