The Duraforce Big&Tall office chair is very nice, supportive, and sturdy. I was looking specifically for a high-back office “captain’s chair” with solid arms that fasten to both the seat back and the seat itself, which means that the reclining function works by tilting back the entire chair in one piece, not moving the back. This setup always results in the chair being very solid vs. moving-back chairs. The chair is very comfortable, and the faux leather headrest is positioned farther forward than most office chairs, meaning you ca actually USE the headrest to support your neck while watching YouTube videos. As a big & tall chair , it’s not as massive as some others. The seat width of about 23 inches is good but not exceptional, and while the 400lbs max weight results in a very strong frame, there are chairs rated to 500 and 600lbs. I’m not that heavy, but a bigger max weight means the chair doesn’t creak as much if I lean on one arm in a weird way or shift around while reclining. The seat height is a bit too high at its lowest setting, but I always change the wheels of my chairs to something lower. Finally I really adore the look of the chair. Most of the office chairs out there are either gnarly gaming chairs or staid mesh chairs. This Duraforce reminds me of an ‘09 Corolla or Civic, and I really like that look. But that’s just me. 5/5.. Perfect chair for a work-from-home situation. Without the arms it slides under a standard dining room table and it maneuvers easily in a very small space. As a plus sized lady the weight rating is always the ultimate deciding factor so I was very pleased to find an attractive option that met all of my needs. I sit in it for 10 hours a day and I like it more than the larger chair I had at the office. When my employer decided to have us take our computers home and set up home offices we only had a matter of days to put together a plan and the actual move took place over an extended lunch break. As my boyfriend and I work together we had to set up 2 workstations in the man cave where the internet router is. That is why my workspace is so tiny and cluttered. After sitting on a standard dining room chair for a week it quickly became apparent that I needed a better solution. If I had to make one complaint, it would be that the recline function sometimes slips if you push too much weight on it, and the lock has to be undone to allow the chair to sit back up. Very nice and comfortable chair. Instructions were pretty easy to follow and chair was fairly easy to assemble. The only issue I came across was a screw that didn’t seem to have attached itself properly when screwed in. It seems to have been stripped so I’m going to have to replace it.
