I had used this type of air conditioner at an Air BnB and really like it, this was main reason for ordering this one and it is great. The inverter option is great for any place with short winters for the same reason noted above, no furnace needed! I heat up a room for the cold hours of the night and that’s it. The remote control is a must, but it works great with the thermostat so I just set the temperature I like and that’s it! The room stays at a comfortable temperature. My husband was able to do most of the installation. It was relatively easy to install the unit on the wall with parts that are included, we only had a certified electrician do the the connection and final install of the unit. Nice appliance. I was amazed how quickly it began making ice. It filled the bin with in a few hours during our first use. I really like that the bin is removable. Makes it much easier to be able to dump the ice in a cooler, instead of a scoop at a time.
