Update 524 Contacted Wayfair the day I found my dented bottom piece. They got me in touch with Monument Grills the same day through their support. Monument Grills shipped out a new replacement base plate and I received it today. Excellent customer service. Changed my review from one star to 4. Would of made it a 5 if I didnt have to go through having to contact Support in the first place. Used the grill a few times now. Cooks great. Came dented. I read numerous reviews stating theirs were dented. I decided to roll the dice. No luck. My dent was on the side of the lower base plate. It affected the uniform shape of the grill. Really had to tighten screws to get things to go. The right door just falls off when I open it because the lower peg is slightly unaligned. Hopefully I can contact someone and get this replaced. The Armor SX5000 WB is a PRO-Grade water-based penetrating water-repellent sealer. It penetrates deep into the substrate where it chemically reacts to form a hydrophobic barrier within the pores that reduces surface water absorption by up to 95%. The Armor SX5000 WB is made from high-quality, non-recycled, US-manufactured resins. It is designed for unsealed concrete, brick, pavers, natural stone, and porous masonry. It works entirely below the surface, won’t change the look or color of the substrate, and won’t leave a surface film. By reducing surface water absorption, cracking, spalling, pitting, mold, mildew, algae, staining, and other damage and deterioration caused by surface water absorption will also be reduced.

This was a breeze to apply. Simply shook the container to mix the contents and then applied with a paint roller. Avoided work during direct sunlight hours. Re-applied until the container was empty. When the first rain came I noticed the water bead up and roll off of the driveway as expected. I will probably do this yearly to maintain the concrete. Best price I could find also.. Earl. The base cabinet was pretty beat up. Unfortunately I’ve come to expect this on large shipped items. Assembly was not so bad and the grill looks good from the front.
