It's a large and very well-built piece. The storage underneath is okay, but I needed a low sideboard as a sofa table for storage. Lined drawers nice for silverware and length good for placemats. Based on pictures from other reviews and the Wayfair listing I was thinking it was a bit darker grayish color. It is lighter than expected but it is gorgeous and I am very happy with the purchase overall. The delivery was top notch and seamless and highly recommend. This is beautiful! Just the right piece for my space. The sideboard is heavy and solid. The hardware is flimsy and I do not like it.... but easy enough to replace. I have purchased new hardware (not installed yet). Pay attention dimensions if you order new. They need to be less than 3" wide. Delivery took a minute, and had a delivery snafu.... but Perigold customer service was FANTASTIC in helping me through my issue. Literally, the best experience. It made all my inconveniences dealing with the snafu a non issue. If you are looking for a quality piece of furniture that will last decades.... this is it. solid wood all the way around.
