7/9/26: update - Customer service has been excellent, responsive and happy with resolution. Voiced my complaint with them and they are replacing the frame for the couch. Can't complain about that. I'll update again if there are no issues with this frame. Outside of that issue, the other pieces are great and very comfortable. OG review: Very disappointed. Had high hopes since my mom has had a plywood set for years and it's quality. Struggled with the idea of spending so much but decided it would be worth it for a quality set that would last for years. Well, that thought was ended the first time we sat on the couch. First off, assembly was a breeze. I completed by myself in a few hours, taking my time because it was extremely hot. But the next morning, went out to have coffee, husband sat on couch, leaned forward to pick up his cup and we heard a pop. He joked about my shotty work putting it together but when we looked we saw it was the prefabricated piece that had broke. IDK if it's just glued together there but it was not strong enough for him to lean forward to grab his coffee. Now, he isn't a tiny guy but he's not huge either, weighes about 220 so in my mind this "quality" furniture should be able to support that. Not sure what kind of customer service help we can get since I am not disassembling everything to send back. Just very surprised and disappointed in Polywood. Value Overall a nice dresser for the price if you can catch it on sale. I also took the additional 10 discount for keeping the item with the drawer box damages. (I tried to get new boxes but they said it had to be completely returned, and I didnt want to deal with the hassle.) 2 of the 6 had some damage or weren’t well built, but for the price, it’s a chance I was willing to take because I love the visual. The drawers have to be pressed completely shut, but that doesn’t bother me since I read the reviews and expected that. Visually I would call it more of a mahogany look. The hardware is not cheap gold which I appreciate. Theres a little brass discoloration if you look closely, but no one would notice. I also chose not to put the feet on it so it could be lower for my son’s room. (The exposed corner technically doesn’t match the wood grain, but I’ll get some touch up pen to take care of that.).
