The first reason for taking off a star for the nightstand itself, is because the drawers are difficult to close completely (like you feel the drawer stop on close, but you will notice the drawers are still out a little, so you have to push again to get it to fully close). Additionally, the moulding on the drawers have gaps in between parts. The backing has bends and cracks or creasing. Personally, I left the legs off, because the nightstands were already enormous and tall without them, and The legs appear much larger than the photo (but that could just be my opinion). Other than that, the overall design elements, gold detailing, weight, and drawer pulls seem to be of very good quality. The price is the second reason for the 4 star rating, as I do think its a little higher in price than I would have wanted to pay after seeing it in person. Most of my items from this seller came undamaged, and the one that did, both the manufacturer, Glory Furniture, as well as Gigi and Adrienne from Wayfair's Resolution Team were amazing at working everything out in an expeditious, empathetic, and kind/courteous manner. Overall, this being the first time I've ordered from Wayfair, I am thoroughly impressed. As for the delivery carriers, the independent delivery companies were also 10 out of 10. FedEx was the carrier/delivery company that dropped off this nightstand that came damaged, and also misrepresented that I wasn't home for the original date of delivery - I watched them drive right past my house without stopping. It was near impossible to get a live person from FedEx until Wayfair stepped in to help, too. FedEx was used again, for the replacement they sent, and while the replacement was nowhere near as damaged, there still was some. I noticed the box also had footprints on top.
