It’s safe to say the level of detail in the instruction manual is one of the best we have ever seen! And the organization of the parts was *chef’s kiss*. We put it together in just over 3 hours while also wrangling our young hyenas - I mean kids. We have built dressers and desks and tables and wayyy too many Hot Wheels tracks. They all prepared us for this experience. And this was far easier than we thought it would be. My husband was able to be the only one up on the ladder while I took the role of assistant and hyena wrangling. Great looking pergola with easy to follow instructions. Took two adults about 7 hours to build with breaks in between. We also used the recommended expansion bolts to secure it to our cement patio. The wood is very soft so it does dent and scratch easily while we were building it but it doesnt look bad at all. Dented pieces, some of the slat holders were not attached and not an easy fix. Some parts sent for the wood grain item which we didn't order. Inspect all pieces in all 7 boxes right away.
