I really like this framed woodwork/artwork combination. Two things to point out and give clarification on for a buyer are the color and the variation in the wood. The background color of this is a very dark charcoal/black/blue. In photos and on the listing it looks Navy blue but in person is it darker. Even in my own photos it looks more blue than it appears in person. It's not a problem and I still really like it but I think it's worth mentioning. If you look at customer images you can see that on the eagle there are knots in the wood. Each one is slightly different so you can expect yours to have those same variations. Finally, as others have stated, it's smaller than it looks in the listing images. I suggest measuring ahead of time so you can visualize it in your space accurately. What a great lamp my DEER! I'm very happy with my purchase - look how cute this is and how it complements my nightstand! The 3-way nightlight is adorable. Please note that the wire around the center is part of the decoration - it wasn't mentioned in the instructions and I could see someone unraveling it thinking it was part of the cord (I almost did:)). The shade was easy to snap on and it was well protected in the box. If I gave any points off it would be that you can see the wire rim if you are standing up looking at the lamp and the charging port is easily reachable for the person on the right side of the bed but the person on the left side will have to turn the lamp to get to the port (not a big deal but a detail to be aware of).
