Love the whirlpool. Didn’t think the light in the tub was important but I do enjoy it. Just read the spec sheet before you buy, it needs two gfi to run the light and whirlpool motor. First, the finish quality on this tub is very good, looks good. my main concern, and why I did not give it 5 stars is because the specifications and the CAD drawings spec the actual length at 66". However, the length is actually 65-3/4 " at the top of the tub and 65-5/8"at the bottom. This presented a problem requiring one of the end walls to be furred out so that the backerboard and tile installed correctly My rough-in was at 66-1/16" so as to allow the tub to slide in easily if it had been the length shown. We bought this for our primary bathroom renovation, which unfortunately is on the smaller side of primary bathrooms. We wanted our shower and tub to be installed on the same wall and had limited space, so at the top of our wish list was a smaller tub that was still comfortable (for our growing family our occasional baths as 5’4 and 5’10 adults.
