This is my third Dyson Animal. I keep one upstairs that is 10 years old and this new stand one I am keeping downstairs. I am very satisfied with Dyson vacuums. The suction power is excellent. I like the adjustable carpet level and a longer court, which my older Dyson does not have. It is a heavier, vacuum and many others on the market, but I have found that the lighter vacuums do not have the suction power that the Dyson does, so the weight of the vacuum is of no significant consequence to me. I do think it would be perfect for anyone that does an every day wet mop, because it works best on lightly soiled areas. An excellent vacuum cleaner and I would recommend it. The suction is excellent and because it is quite light, it is manoeuvrable. I do empty it more frequently than my previous vacuum cleaner, although this isn't a bad thing. It is easy to empty the bin. I did have some concerns with the humidifier not working, but after a little online research I didn’t have the humidity setting high enough.
