This range hood is high quality. I bought a cheaper version a few years ago for my old house. I liked it, but now that I have this I can see where the cheaper one was lacking. This range hood is thicker steel that wont dent as easily. The oil tray is steel, the baffle filters feel commercial grade, the large duct size really moves a lot of air. I am glad I spent the money. Its loud but quieter than the old one. Relatively quiet for the amount of air it moves. The instructions are good, mounting is easy and secure. This range hood is very nice looking. Assembly was easy. It took a little time to remove the protective plastic from the surfaces, but still well worth it. I love the ability to adjust the light and fan settings. The ability to use hand gestures is also a plus.
