I’m impressed with this dusk to dawn outdoor lamp post. It wasn’t very hard to put together, and seems good quality. The problem I foresee is someone with no electrical experience trying to put it together and install it. My husband is an electrician, and I’m glad. I love the lights and they look great! Just a couple of small issues: a) the lights came with 3 screws to attach to a post but I need to attach to a pier mount base (Castellanos, which I purchased at the same time) so they don't work. I am in the process of trying to find a way to secure them, and b) there is about 1/4" gap between the glass and the base so water gets in. This light fixture is terrific. It is made of metal, no cheap plastic, and there is a beautiful engraving pattern on the glass, something I wasn't anticipating. They included the bulb, which is supposed to flicker I believe. The thumbnail photo of the listing makes the glass look smoked, but it is crystal clear! When I first purchased it for a pole I already have, I was concerned that the square base was the only option. I was wrong. You have the OPTION of square or round bases! I even took it to the pole and ensured it fit. Installation looks quite easy (the problem is the base of the pole on the snow covered ground, we have to wait until spring. But I am incredibly excited to see this assembled on the pole, and working in the yard. It will be a nice improvement to our exterior lighting in a subdivision that doesn't have any street lights..
