[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this iron for over six months thus far. It is easy to fill with water. The iron did heat up fast. The bottom heating plate is still clean (only used it on clothes). I have used the water jet and steam often w/o issues. It is a little heavier and longer than my other iron. I do like the retractable cord concept. It does interfere with my clothes at times, but it no different than my other iron, i.e., no problem with my ironing process. Nice performance with light continuous steam on full-steam setting, and steamburst button. Sufficient number and placement of steam holes in the soleplate as well. On/of switch on handle is ideal also (most irons do not have this). Heats up quickly. Big issue, however, is the nearly-impossible-to-fill reservoir located almost under the handle; iron must be off and fully cool to fill, because you have to tilt it, back end up towards yourself, to fully fill it. Good for ironing a garment or two, but an utter nuisance if you have a pile of ironing to get through. Re-engineer the water reservoir opening, and it would be a truly great iron.. C D. I had been wanting to upgrade our clothes steamer for a while because my previous one had a small water reservoir, frequently spit water, and couldn't be used horizontally for steaming table linens or bedding. I was excited to try this one, and it has been a great upgrade. The first thing I noticed was the sleek design. I love the black and copper finish, and it even comes with a nice black velvet storage bag that's great for travel or keeping everything together. The water reservoir is also a generous size. I was able to steam two T-shirts and part of my bedding while testing the horizontal function and still had water left, which is a huge improvement over my previous steamer. It offers three settings—Dry Iron, Low Steam, and High Steam, and includes a helpful guide explaining which fabrics are best suited for each setting. It heats up in about 20–25 seconds, so it's ready to use quickly. Performance has been excellent. It steamed clothing vertically without spitting water, and I was especially impressed that it also worked beautifully in the horizontal position for bedding. It didn't leak or drip, which was one of the main features I was looking for. One thing to note is that you can adjust the angle of the steamer head while it's hot, but you'll want to be careful because it could be easy to burn yourself if you're not paying attention. That's more of a general safety consideration than a product flaw. Overall, I'm very pleased with this steamer.
