These pillows are the bees knees. I have bought so many pillows over the years, expensive pillows, cheap pillows, online pillows, in store pillows, and ALL those pillows have failed me miserably. However, I noticed that when I go to a hotel, those pillows don't give me neck and head pain when I wake up. So I tried to recreate that experience with these Goose feather pillows, and they are right on time. I just received them, gave them 2 days to decompress (from vacuum packing), and slept on them for the first time last night. NO NECK, SHOULDER, NOR HEAD PAIN AT ALL! It's truly the simple things. Not as thick as I had hoped, closer to a thick mattress cover. Not much different from a down blanket, really. Still, it’s a great deal for something that is great for your health due to it being hypoallergenic and good for your skin! It’s basically a nice topper for firming up a foam mattress, or adding a hypoallergenic layer overtop something that’s not rated as being very “green”. We first tried this over a firm latex pad, and it did not add much noticeable improvement in thickness or softness. Next, we tried this down pad over a 2 inch thick foam pad, and it made all the difference! I am not at all a fan of foam pads. However, using this topper over the foam pad makes the foam less susceptible to sinking! Love it!
