When not in a reclining position, the couch doesnt look like a recliner at all. The buttons are tucked underneath the cushions so you dont even see them. The buttons are electric, and the motion of the recliner is super smooth. Theres also a USB and phone charging plug in which is super convenient. I have a GIANT headboard and with my mattress and boxspring the outlet behind my bed is really hard to get to.
