This thing is extremely deceptive... what I mean is. It's size does not match its weight. The thing is seriously light. Which lends itself to quality issues. The BT option works but will cycle on a loop of connecting if you leave the BT connection screen open. At least that was my experience. Now, the sound is low end PA (high treble) quality sound. The bass is minimal but there. The pre selected equalizer settings are basically useless. The thing is loud, and it is clear all the way into the upper end of the volume. Now I don't know if it is 3k watts of power as advertised. On the box RMS is 10watts. But this world seems confidant with fuzzy math's. I afterall 3000 is way bigger than 10. For the money. I am so excited for this mini split unit. Getting a new central air conditioner is just not in the cards right now. This is a very affordable price for the amount of ac and heat that you are getting. Things of note, we had to buy a specialty drill bit to be able to install the units properly. We live in a brick house and needed to be able to drill through the brick. The lines that connect from outside to inside need about a 2 inch diameter hole to pass through. We also decided to buy a rack so that we could hang the main condenser above the ground. We were not able to install this by ourselves and had to call for reinforcements via an HVAC guy. Once everything is finished being installed I will update with the finished product! UPDATE: like others have posted, you will need a special HVAC vacuum to start the unit. You will also need special wire and a 220 outlet to connect to.
